Racing is in his blood — Gage comes from a highly competitive racing family and has spent the biggest part of his 9 years at a dirt track. His dad Tim Montgomery and Uncle Joe Montgomery have been racing sprint cars across the mid west for 20 years and have a combine total in excess of 250 wins and coutless track championships. He is using every bit of his dirt track exposure to cultivate his own driving style and is making his way through the ranks.

Gage started his racing career on four wheelers at the age of 4. As soon as he could reach the gas he moved to open wheel racing in the cage cart division clinching “Rookie of the Year” at the local track and winning the points championship in his second season. Gage also runs an indoor series during the winter and has won the points championship both seasons. In addition he has also acquired awards for most competative, most determined and biggest rival.
